Project Background:Shanghai Nanda’s industrial park needed a versatile office-production space. We built a steel complex that blends office comfort and industrial durability, fitting the area’s efficient development needs.

·Project Overview

This project is a multi-story steel frame structure, with some areas using steel supports to enhance lateral strength. The main components are made of Q355B steel, and the secondary components are made of Q235B steel. The standard column spacing is 8.4m × 8.4m, and in some large-span areas, the column spacing reaches 12m. The floor design load of the multi-story structure is 5.0kN/㎡, and in the local heavy equipment area, it is strengthened to 10kN/㎡, which is suitable for the company’s research and production of lightweight products.The steel structure of this project weighs up to 2,800 tons, and the unit area steel usage is approximately 93kg/㎡.

Component Details

·Steel Columns

Welded H-shaped steel columns are used. The bottom is rigidly connected to the reinforced concrete foundation through embedded bolts to transfer vertical loads and horizontal shear forces.

·Steel Beams

The main frame beams are welded H-shaped steel, and the secondary beams are made of high-frequency welded H-shaped steel, connected to the columns through high-strength bolts to achieve rapid assembly.

·Floor Deck Plates

1.2mm closed-profile profiled steel plates are used. Combined with steel trusses and steel beam stud welding to form a composite floor slab, enhancing the overall stiffness and crack resistance of the floor.

·Surface Anti-corrosion and Fireproof Treatment

Anti-corrosion: epoxy zinc-rich primer (dry film thickness ≥ 80μm) + epoxy iron oxide intermediate paint (≥ 80μm) + fluorocarbon topcoat (≥ 80μm), with a corrosion protection period of ≥ 15 years.

Fireproofing The steel beams and columns are coated with ultra-thin fireproof coating on-site, with a fire resistance limit of 2.0 hours, meeting the requirements of fire regulations.
