The theodolite is used to accurately calibrate the bearing position to ensure that the elevation error of the bearings on both sides is controlled within 5mm, which lays the foundation for the smooth landing of the bridge.

A roller system shall be laid on the roll-out bank to level a site approximately 1.5 times the length of the bridge span. First, assemble a lighter guide nose frame, which is usually 2/3 the total length of the bridge, to adjust the center of gravity and ensure that the bridge body does not overturn when the cantilever is pushed out.

Connect the standard bridge section in turn behind the nose frame. Connect the upper and lower chords with special pins and tighten the stiffener and beam bolts to the specified torque with a torque wrench. The verticality and straightness of the truss shall be checked once every 1 section to prevent accumulated errors.

Push the bridge smoothly to the opposite bank by bulldozer or hoist until the nose frame is fully lapped on the roller on the opposite bank. Remove the nose frame, lift the bridge with jacks, remove the rollers, slowly place the bridge on permanent supports, and finally lay the bridge deck system.
