Project Name:Tourist villa

Project location:Philippines

Innovation point:Modular construction, rapid construction

Material Type:light steel

This light steel tourist hotel built on a Philippine island, with cold-formed thin-walled steel as the skeleton and composite panels as the enclosure system, deeply adapts to the tropical island environment with multiple advantages: The high-strength steel structure, after anti-corrosion treatment, can withstand typhoons above grade 12 and geological risks in high-seismic areas. Prefabricated modular components are transported to the site by container shipping, allowing bolted assembly of a 200 m² building to be completed within 15 days. The lightweight feature that eliminates the need for deep foundations reduces damage to the local landscape; 100mm-thick rock wool sandwich panels and reflective thermal insulation roofs reduce indoor temperature difference by 3-5°C. Translucent light panels combined with openable ventilation louvers achieve natural energy efficiency. The 90% material recovery rate and low-noise construction comply with island ecological protection requirements; The large-span space without load-bearing walls facilitates the creation of full-sea-view guest rooms and open terraces. Modules can be quickly expanded during peak seasons to cope with passenger flow fluctuations, saving 40% transportation and installation costs and 60% maintenance costs compared to traditional buildings, making it an ideal paradigm for low-carbon development in tourist resorts such as Boracay.
