Project Overview

This 4000㎡ integrated prefabricated industrial facility is in Tangier, Morocco. It’s used for logistics warehousing, manufacturing support and on-site offices. With dimensions 75m×35m×20m, it’s built around lightweight steel structure—including a main steel frame structure, fireproof pu rock wool sandwich panels for roofs and walls, and a built-in prefabricated steel mezzanine office. This design ensures structural stability, energy efficiency and multi-functionality, making it a local model for prefabricated industrial construction.

Lightweight Steel Structure Frame & Prefabricated Mezzanine Office Integration

We used a high-strength lightweight steel structure frame as the main load-bearing part, and added a 500㎡ modular prefabricated steel mezzanine office in one corner of the warehouse. Its key benefits are:

The prefabricated steel mezzanine is made of modular beams and columns. It can bear weight stably and makes full use of vertical space, no extra land needed.

The lightweight steel structure is very flexible. It lets the mezzanine connect smoothly with the warehouse, while keeping the structure safe and the building style consistent.

All prefabricated steel components (including frame and mezzanine) speed up on-site assembly, cutting the construction time by 30% compared to traditional concrete structures.

Roof & Wall Fireproof Pu Rock Wool Sandwich Panel Enclosure

We covered the whole warehouse roof and walls with fireproof pu rock wool sandwich panels, which work perfectly with the lightweight steel structure:

It has great thermal insulation performance (≤0.038 W/(m·K)) and Grade A fire resistance, keeping the inside environment stable. This is good for temperature-sensitive goods storage and making the mezzanine office comfortable.

Its good sealing and sound insulation keeps out dust, noise and weather changes from outside.

It’s resistant to corrosion and bad weather, fitting Morocco’s local climate well. This extends the steel building’s service life to over 20 years.
