Project Background:Dianguang Explosion-proof Technology (Listed Group)businesses needed a combined office-workshop space. We built a steel complex that balances office function and industrial durability, fitting the city’s industrial park needs.
Key Features
· Structural System
– The main plant building adopts a portal frame steel structure with a span of 24-30 meters and a column spacing of 6-9 meters, which meets the requirements for large-space production and equipment layout;
– The company’s R&D center and test building are multi-story frame steel structures with a maximum floor height of 8 meters, suitable for the installation of precision instruments and test spaces.
– The steel components are made of Q355B high-strength steel, with H-shaped steel as the main beams and box-shaped columns as the load-bearing columns. They can withstand typhoons of strength level 12(hurricane) and meet the requirements of 7-degree seismic resistance.
– The floor formwork uses closed-profile profiled steel plates, combined with reinforced steel trusses, to enhance the floor bearing capacity and construction efficiency, and the equipment platform does not require on-site pouring.
· Construction Techniques
– The factory prefabrication + on-site assembly mode is adopted. All steel components are produced and prefabricated in our workshop, with a prefabrication rate exceeding 90%, reducing the amount of on-site welding.
– Heavy steel structure hoisting technology: The first hoisted steel column is 10.5 meters long and weighs approximately 9.8 tons, and the longest steel beam is 13 meters long and weighs over 10 tons. It is carried out by the cooperation of truck cranes and crawler cranes to ensure installation accuracy and safety.
– The surface protection of the project components uses epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy iron oxide intermediate paint + acrylic polyurethane topcoat. The anti-corrosion life is over 15 years, meeting the durability requirements for industrial environments.
· Office Area
Based on the steel frame, combined with insulated walls and large windows design, a well-lit, clean, and modern working space is constructed. This area can be flexibly divided into office and meeting room functional zones according to actual usage needs, suitable for various office scenarios.
· ATEX & IECEx Compliant Design
The structural system and electrical system of the project are planned and constructed in accordance with ATEX & IECEx standards. Professional facilities such as pressure relief panels, intrinsically safe wiring, and explosion-proof enclosures are configured to provide suitable support for the research and development trials and large-scale manufacturing of mining robots and 5G smart mining systems.
· Net-Zero Energy & Solar PV Integration
The building roof is equipped with a 4.2-megawatt distributed photovoltaic (PV) system, and a combination design of energy-efficient insulated metal panels (IMPs) and skylights is adopted. This configuration can effectively optimize natural lighting effects and enhance the building’s insulation and heat preservation performance, reducing energy consumption while providing strong support for the project to achieve carbon neutrality goals.
