The Tonglu 4S Car Dealership Building is a modern automobile-themed commercial complex that combines vehicle sales, exhibition, and supporting business services in one place. With a total construction area of 105,000 square meters, it has 4 above-ground floors and 1 underground floor. The most eye-catching part of its design is the unique special-shaped steel structure roof—a typical example of how steel structure is used in large-scale commercial architecture.

We picked steel structure for the roof mainly because of three big advantages. First, it has great load-bearing capacity, which works perfectly for the long-span design the dealership needs for open exhibition and sales spaces. Second, it’s flexible enough to form the complex curves we wanted, matching the project’s creative architectural ideas. Third, its prefabricated construction is efficient, helping to shorten the construction period a lot. These strengths make steel structure the ideal choice for creating innovative and complex commercial building designs.

Following green development ideas, we’ve installed solar panels smoothly on the steel structure roof. This design blends architectural functionality, nice looks, and renewable energy utilization really well.

This project clearly shows the great application value of steel structure in large-scale commercial complexes. It also sets a new industry standard for eco-friendly, innovative, and steel structure-based architectural design in the automobile dealership sector.
